CHAPTER ETERNAL
James M. Roberts ’50 entered Chapter Eternal on January 8, after a very brief illness. He was 88. Roberts was recognized as a trail-blazing leader in advertising sales and management, winning every available award throughout the course of his 40-year career.
Edward G. Timmerman ’53 entered Chapter Eternal March 1, 2016.
Chad Thomas Myers ’95 entered Chapter Eternal on March 27, 2017 at the age of 43. Chad was a boating enthusiast and avid lover of Michigan State. Chad had one son, Cameron, and lived in Pompano Beach, Fla.

David F. Roberts ’51 has been enjoying his retirement at Ocean Hills Country Club for 17 years. He spends much of his time playing golf. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Oceanside, Calif.
William L. Shallberg ’51 reports that he graduated from the M.S. Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1955 and was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He lives in Houston, Texas.

John D. Hutson ’69 retired in 2000 as the judge advocate general of the U.S. Navy. He served in the navy for 28 years. In 2011, he retired as the dean of the University of New Hampshire School of Law. John lives in Saint Augustine, Fla.

Kirk Barrie Armstrong ’90 opened his own organization: Armstrong Sales Coaching after working almost a decade for a local Sander Sales Training franchise. His training center officially opened in October. Kirk lives in Royal Oak, Mich.
